Our cashmere begins with goats raised in the extreme climate of the Gobi region. The fibers are combed from the soft undercoat they naturally grow for insulation, then selected for fineness, length, and consistency.
The result is an exceptionally soft fiber that delivers warmth without unnecessary weight.
Cashmere is naturally scarce. A single goat produces only a small amount of usable down each season, and it takes the annual yield of roughly three goats to create one sweater.
That scarcity is part of what makes true cashmere different: lighter, warmer, softer, and more insulating than ordinary wool.
Our cashmere is spun by Todd & Duncan on the shores of Loch Leven, Scotland, where cashmere yarn has been made for more than 150 years.
The fiber is carefully cleaned, blended, carded, spun, and finished using techniques refined over generations to preserve softness, strength, and consistency.
We select cashmere for more than softness. Fiber length, strength, color consistency, traceability, and responsible sourcing all matter.
